Mission Health Promotion Center was established in 1990 by Bangkok Adventist Hospital with concerns and health problems risen from the daily living of the general public. Some of the health problems that can cause paralysis and even death include heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, etc. Therefore, it is better to prevent than cure. With that in mind, Bangkok Adventist Hospital set out to establish Mission Health Promotion Center. The objective was to promote health and provide information on health with emphasis on natural remedies for treatment, health rejuvenation and disease prevention with the least usage of medication possible.
Mission Health Promotion is a hotel-like establishment, consisting of some 34 rooms that can provide accommodation for 80 guests. The facility is modern, surrounded by hills and clean air, suitable for relaxation, exercise, swimming, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. There are physician, nurses, physical therapist, nutritionist, sports science personnel and other skilled staff to provide seminars and training services on health. These services include lectures, demonstration, practice, diet control and exercise under supervision of experienced speakers, skilled staff and expert lecturers in various areas.
