Stress is defined as a physical, mental, or emotional response to events that causes bodily or mental tension. Every day people have stress part or most of the time, but stress in preventable and treatable.

Mission Health Promotion Center has a Stress Management Program that teaches people about the physical and mental effects due to stress and provides education and tools to appropriately and effectively prevent and treat stress and its effects on the body.
